A week from now I will be at my dad's with two packed bags spending my last night in Michigan. I'm getting towards the end of preparing. I have to sort through two boxes, a duffel bag, and suitcase. Peace Corps allows for two bags, maximum 80 lbs total. I need to fill out all the paperwork for Staging, contact Direct Loans to put my loans into deferment, cancel my cell phone, and get a H1N1 shot. I also need to go shopping for a power adapter, clothes and find some casual business wear for orientation.Kristenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01424420128010495603noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1500992065789576487.post-75120287582432243032010-08-16T18:49:00.000-07:002010-09-05T18:05:22.049-07:004 WeeksIn four weeks, I'll be in Philadelphia were I will be sworn in as a Youth Developer volunteer for the Peace Corps. My term of service will be September 2010 through November 2012. I will be in Morocco, although I don't know where yet.

It's crazy to think that in 4 weeks I'll be in Philadelphia for staging. I'm currently in North Carolina sorting through everything. It's a lot of work going through everything I own with the end goal of donating/throwing away 95% of the things I own. Over the next four weeks, I'll fly back to Michigan to stay with family for two weeks. For the next four weeks I'll need to get everything ready.Kristenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01424420128010495603noreply@blogger.com0
